Tamarac, FL – Shanda Lee has been hired as Gurkha Cigars’ new Director of Marketing. In this role Lee will be responsible for the marketing and brand management of Gurkha Cigars. She will plan, direct, supervise and coordinate all advertising, public relations, social media and marketing campaigns for the company and its many lines.

Lee brings with her more than a decade of experience in the cigar industry and almost 25 years of marketing know how. She comes to Gurkha from J.C. Newman where she was an officer and part of the product development team and responsible for developing the company’s marketing strategy. In this capacity she created brands and programs that enabled Newman to experience double-digit sales growth over the past 10 years.
