This cigar was covered with a beautiful, silky smooth wrapper with an oily sheen. The pre-light nose and taste had a lot of earthy hay-like qualities with some floral and grassy notes. Once lit the initial smoke was creamy with a slight spice that lingered on the back end of each puff. The flavors and aroma were bright and filled with notes very similar to the pre-light only with more spice and earthty tobacco flavors. As the cigar was smoked, more black pepper notes developed in the taste and especially through the nose. The texture of the smoke seemed to become more and more dense as the cigar was smoked and the body built from mild to medium-full. It had full flavors to match with a long and full-flavored finish. The construction was outstanding with a slow, even burn that hung on to a dense, dark gray ash. This is an extremely well made cigar with great flavors that aren’t heavy on the palate. A great way to start the day.

I\'ve only had a couple, but I can\'t say it wasn\'t a pleasant experience!
This stick starts off smooth and sweet and intensifies with floral and earthy flavors with a great finish
Smooth flavorful
Well constructed with a smooth flavor
Very smooth and not bitter. To me, more full than medium bodied but wasn\'t too powerful.
The Herrera Esteli is a solid smoke regardless of size or presentation. Always perfect construction and draw. Caramel, powdered cocoa, leather, and white pepper on the retrohale
Great Smoke. It\'s a top notch cigar from start to finish. I have enjoyed a few of these so far and each of them has been a phenomenal smoke.
