There was a dark brown wrapper with a marbleized color pattern.  It had a hardy appearance yet was smooth to the touch and heavy in the hand.  The pre-light nose had a sweet earthy, hay-like smell that carried over to the un-lit taste of the cigar.  It had full flavor as soon as it was lit with sweet and spicy tones that remained consistent when retro-haling the smoke, which had a creamy, dense texture in the taste.  The burn was slow and incredibly even, producing a long white ash.  As the cigar was smoked, white peppery notes developed and lingered in the taste through the finish of each puff as well as in the nose.  The cigar produced a lot of smoke at the foot and delivered it to the palate with ease.  The draw was smooth and gradual making this effortless to enjoy.  The body developed and continuously gained strength finishing full with a full flavor profile to match.  Overall this was a hardy full flavored, full bodied cigar that left a lasting impression.

I felt compelled to review this stick because only a select few have been lucky enough to snag this beast of a Liga when they were originally released. It may be years before we see them again but anything this great is worth the wait! This is by no slim margin the best Liga Privada DE has ever created. Where the Liga line shines with its rich, deep flavors, big smoke and it’s ability to not totally dry out your palate, the H99 takes it to a whole new level. The wrapper is a slight shade lighter than a traditional Liga with hues of deep red and tanned leather spots, it’s just beautiful! This vitola is BIG, so be ready for a very smooth, cool draw while smoking this stick with huge amounts of smoke and an even burn. This cigar is neither super spicy or sweet, it falls in the middle with a lot of leather and oak notes. The first, second and third portion of the cigar remain similar with little difference as it burns which I appreciated. If you can get your hands on one, smoke it. It will knock your socks off!
This is one of a kind, I enjoyed this yesterday...I\'m loving it
Pretty smooth with good flavor. Burn was good and full of flavor. Would recommend for any occasion.
So excited to have had the chance to smoke this cigar. What an amazing cigar. flavor abounds through out this whole stick what a great representation of the Drew Estate Liga series! BOOM!
Huge fan of these. I only had one but it was sooooo good
Best smoke I have ever had. Needs 10 stars.
I would give this magnificent creature a 5 rating but I want to get my hands on at least one more to see if it was truly as special as I think it was...
This is a solid cigar with surprises. The CT Corojo wrapper was very surprising to me. Instead of the leather & rich cocoa notes that I am used to I got notes of ceder, spice & pepper. I found it quite delightful. Well constructed without any issues.
